It was love at first sight for me when I was introduced to the Thermomix
The Thermomix is an amazing product and being a Consultant and sharing that love is lots of fun! I love cooking, I love talking and I especially love talking about cooking - a match made in heaven. I bought my Thermomix in July 2010 and began training. I was wondering if this consulting thing was really for me after all; it all seemed a little daunting. But when I saw what a difference the Thermomix was making to people's lives and realised that I had a role in that, it boosted my confidence tremendously.
When January 2011 came around I had to decide whether I was going to aim for 30 points to get my free second Thermomix. I decided to give it a red-hot go! One of the strategies that I used was to recruit the help of my happy customers. I let them know of the incentive I was aiming for and asked that if they had any friends who were ready to buy, now would be a great time. From that email I got three sales! It was so lovely to see my happy customers wanting to help me succeed.
One lady actually bought a Thermomix anonymously for a mother she knew. She said that this would help the mother (of six!) and help me at the same time. Wow, aren’t some people amazing? I have to say, making that phone call to the busy, deserving mother was probably the highlight of all of my time consulting so far. I felt like I was calling to tell her she had won the lottery. She was so excited!
